Multiple jobs combined, we packed 120kg of technical view camera, medium-format camera and lighting equipment and started our big 2012-Asia-Tour. Image- and advertising photography at different exciting job sites operated by major industrial companies. From Manchuria at -20°C all the way down to the mosquito ridden delta of the great Ganges-River, under hard and occasionally adventurous conditions- we love to serve our clients. New Film Project: Low-Temperature Asphalt with Foam-Bitumen

The production of asphalt for road paving consumes a lot of fossil fuels and raw material. But roads are vital for the wealth of the people. Woulnd`t it be great if there were a method to produce a durable and high-quality road cover with much less energy consumption? Actually- there is! A method well-proven in Northern America and Scandinavia for decades! Fotopizza likes to help promoting this method in the rest of Europe as well as all over the world. In close co-operation with the companies BAUSTOFFLABOR Uetendorf (construction material testing lab), BERAG (asphalt mixing plant), WALO (construction company) and Ammann AG (maker of asphalt mixing plants) Fotopizza is currently producing a film to give more information about this asphalt production method to decision makers with public departments and with construction companies. There will also be information for asphalt mixing plant owners included in the film. We believe the protecting our environment is a shared effort that affects everyone. The Fotopizza-Family is growing!

Another free-lancer has joined the Fotopizza-Team! Ms Christin "The Cat" Leuthaeusser from Berlin, Germany, will support some Fotopizza projects in the next 2 years. She will be responsible for film set-design and styling, she will help as a technical assistant for photography projects and she will take over the catering for long-term on-location film-projects. Since she works for other companies as well as a free-lancer, she won`t be able to support all of our projects- but we welcome her warmly to our team!
International advertising and image campaign

Fotopizza got selected as the executing company for a long-term and world-wide running advertising- and image-campaign for the Swiss company Ammann AG. Ammann is a world-wide leading producer of asphalt- and concrete mixing plants, as well as for all types of road-construction and construction machinery. Our commission includes concept-work as well as the production of the entire picture material. The first photoshootings took place in Europe and Russia, with more world-wide shootings to come. We will show some highlights of that project here in the future. We are very proud to work on this exciting and interesting project togehter with one of our best clients! more »

Let`s capture a industrial facility in a different way! Here we have company Holcim`s brand new "Ecomix"-type concrete mixing plant. Just take 7000 Watts of light, position it nicely, wait around 12 hours for the right brightness of the ambient light- and the results are nice twilight shots (medium format camera) of that futuristic looking concrete mixing plant. The Ecuador Project

Fotopizza is proud to support a personal pro-bono film project of Director Karsten Hinrichs. In co-operation with the arch-diocese of Munich & Freising (Germany), and on the occasion of the almost 50 years of partnership betweeen this arch-diocese and the arch-diocese of Quito, Hinrichs is producing a 30-minutes documentary movie about the hard and good work the Catholic Church is doing in Ecuador. In times, where only negative news about the church make it in the headlines of the newspapers, we should not forget what demanding work these institutions do to make life better for the local people. That is an on-going project, that will take us to Ecuador several times in the future. Latest news on the project will be given here...
A Midsummer Adventure

It is done! The first mobile asphalt mixing plant „Blackmove II“, made by the Swiss company Ammann AG, and run by the Swedish company PEAB Asfalt, is operational and working perfectly! Fotopizza took part in this adventure- from the transport from Switzerland to Sweden untill the first asphalt production! So watch here our latest movie „Blackmove II: A Midsummer Adventure“. How to make a lamp post?

A lamp post is a trivial every day object for sure. We see hundreds of them day by day. So, how hard can it be to make one? But during my work at the brand new lamp post factory, run by company EUROPOLES in Poland, I could see first hand how much know-how is necessary to make lamp post in large numbers in a short period of time.
